Cost vary from 180 euro (maybe even less) to 500 euro or more depends on amount of "distiled water" production. 1/4 1/5 is the ratio between distiled and sludge output. 2 types of membranes exist chlorine and non chlorine resistant, the ones that are non resistant require activated carbon prefilter (usually lasts 6 months). Most good ones have 3 prefilters, mechanical for big rubbish, 5 micron one for small, activated carbon, flow is controlled by length of thin pipe within sludge output pipe, you can fine tune distiled- sludge output ratio with it. Pressure meter in new models shows decrease of flow in prefilters, price of spare membranes vary from 100 to 150 Euros depending on output usually 35 to 100 gallon in 24 hours.
Mine is 100 gal/24h of "distiled water".
