Thank you for your email. It is possible to use KanaPlex and SulfaPlex at the same time in a saltwater aquarium, although I would stress caution in making sure not to overdose these medications. It may also be redundant to use both of these medications at the same time, KanaPlex will treat both fungal and bacterial diseases while SulfaPlex will treat fungal, bacterial, and protozoan infections. These medications have a minimal impact on the biofilter, but we do not recommend that they be used in the same tanks as invertebrates such as shrimp and corals.

My recommendation would be to treat your aquarium with SulfaPlex and, if you find that the disease is not responding to the medication within the recommended treatment period, attempt to treat with KanaPlex.
