Furan-2 :
For best results remove activated carbon from filter and continue aeration. For each 10 gallons (37.85 L) of aquarium water, open one capsule and empty contents directly into aquarium. Wait 24 hours and repeat dose. Wait another 24 hours and make a 25% water change. Repeat this treatment for a second time, for a total of 4 doses of FURAN-2. Then make a final 25% water change and add fresh activated carbon. Treatment may be repeated, if necessary. When possible, saltwater fish should be medicated in a separate "hospital tank". This medication will cause a harmless green color in the aquarium, which can be removed with activated carbon. This medication can be used in conjunction with Aquarium Pharmaceuticals anti-parasitic medications. This medication will not harm the biological filter in fresh or saltwater aquariums.
General cure :

Repeat dose every other day for a total of two doses. After treatment is complete, change 25% of the aquarium water and add fresh activated carbon. Treatment may be repeated if necessary. CAUTION: Invertebrates must not be treated or returned to tank less than 72 hours after last treat¬ment. This medication can be used in conjunction with Aquarium Pharmaceuticals antibacterial medications.
