Αγόρασα τον κυκλοφορητή MAXI JET MP-1200 της Aquarium Systems και μέχρι να έρθει άλλαξα γνώμη και αποφάσισα να τον 'τρεξω' εκτός νερού. Αναρωτήθηκα όμως αν χρειάζετε αν είναι μεσα στο νερό για cooling.
Ρώτησα τα μέλη εδώ, αλλά επειδή δεν υπήρχαν και σαφής οδηγίες πάνω στο κουτί του προϊόντος, δεν πείστικα οτι είναι ασφαλές και επειδή έχω κάψει έναν στον παρελθόν απο υπερθέρμανση, έστειλα email στον κατασκευαστή εχθές.
Σήμερα λοιπόν πήρα απάντηση (εξυπηρετικότατοι οι κύριοι) και σας την παραθέτω για όποιον ενδιαφέρεται και έχει την ίδια μάρκα κυκλοφορητή:

I have purchased one of your products MAXI-JET MP 1200 and I am
considering operating it outside the water (with the proper plumbing to
pull water from the tank and push water back into the tank).
It will stand ideally at the same level as the water (not too high, not too
low) however I wonder about overheating and/or noise of the power head.
Can you advise if I can run this power head outside the water in such
a set-up?

Dear sir,
You can run the Maxi-jet inline as you described. The pump is
not self-priming meaning you will need to get the siphon started but the
pump will then continue to circulate water and it should be as quiet as it
is under water. The pumps are cooled by the water flowing through them
so that is not an issue.
